I work at a mid tier firm in an audit group of ~20 people. We’ve recently had two seniors and a manager leave, and I just found out another senior with a ton of big jobs is leaving in three weeks. I also just found out I’m being promoted to senior with a raise of 10%. In light of all these departures though, I kind of want to ask for more.... should I? And what % raise is appropriate? Any insight appreciated!

What is LPA location premium allowance mentioned in offer letter?? Is it variable part which we get end of year? Or will it be part of monthly salary?

I accepted TCS offer with 50% hike. Later I got other opportunities with 120% in CTS, LT, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis, Accenture. Requested TCS for salary revision. Asked me to send counter offer. No response from them. My DOJ is on Dec 13, do TCS keep me in blacklist if I don't join? Please suggest.

Saw an article about the chilling effect that the Big Law salary raises are having on in house hiring since associates cannot bear to take the pay cut. Do we believe this? Got a job offer from small consulting firm (<200 people) and they are ready to file my GC from day1. About to resign in next couple of weeks once I receive my h1 approval.
But Deloitte sent a notification that they are restarting Perm process. Currently with Deloitte - nothing has been filed. They have the JD and all the documents from my side but haven’t filed pwd yet. Stay or move out .?
