How did everyone get into their field of work?

I’ll start: in senior year of high school, I had no idea what I wanted to study in school, so I got on Reddit to search for the best major that is the easy but yields the highest ROI, which lead me to study economics. I loved it! I went deep into econometrics which lead to a Data Analyst job out of school, then a Data Scientist role, and now an ML Engineer role.

Hi, I'm getting lot of interview calls for SAP SD Consultant but they want someone experienced 2 to 3 years of experience, 1 or 2 implementation done, support or rollout etc, Relevant experience of sap is zero I have, for BFSI industry is 3+ years I've, so what would u suggest??I'm not getting any work, 5 months gap already now in doing SAP course, hana certifications etc,any fresher in SAP, how u made it in SAP? What are people's thoughts on corporate Treasury roles, fortune 50.

What is the general compensation like and the career path after analyst? Is it more stimulating than FP&A? Does Treasury have desirable exit opportunities or do people typically continue the course and climb the company ladder?

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
