Clients are pain in the ass out here
What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
Blow me one last kiss 😘

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Ha! Good point
I chose a university near where I lived. I didn’t have to pay room & board. I went part time, in the evening program, so I could continue to work. I took advantage of my company’s tuition reimbursement policy. I got a $120k degree (at the time) and it cost me $30k.
Alix did not hire me out of my MBA program. I joined a different consulting firm at that time. An MBA was absolutely necessary to get that first consulting job.
Yes I think an MBA is necessary for my current job.
When I think about how my career path changed post MBA, and the opportunities I’ve had, the money for my MBA was with every penny.
Online MBA programs, even if they're just cash cows for MBA programs and the candidates are generally less qualified than FTMBAs
Merit scholarships
Concurrent employment
Teaching assistantships
I chose the cheapest school in the top 5 in Canada. It was also a condensed program so I'd be out of the labour market for a shorter period of time - 60 hour weeks doing a full-time MBA for 13 months instead of 16 - 24 months. I also applied for scholarships and grants. I ended up $45k in debt at the end of my program which was quick to repay with my new earning power.
What percentage hike did you get in salary. I’m not sure UK employers value MBA and I earn base what most post-MBA base would earn, I was really looking to use it to pivot into a strategy role. How long did you take to pay back?
