I just use a physical planner and then put recurring reports/tasks on outlook as well. Serves as a double entry system and I have never missed any deadline or request

I would use a tool like Airtable instead of trying to build something from scratch in Excel.

I use an outlook calendar for this. Tasks can be dragged into the calendar during the time you worked them (or plan to work them).
I use a physical planner. Your admin can add it to the next supply order for you, or you should be able to expense one. I am trying out an undated one this year.
If you have access to Smartsheets, they have a couple of great templates you can use.

Try using a JIRA board. (Web based not part of excel)
I use Teams Tasks to help me keep track and they are supposed to be releasing a planner feature soon.
Will something like Asana not work for your use?
