Any tips for BCG first round interview?
Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Try for US, Canada, Dubai or Australia. Europe is going through very rough time with high inflation, cost of living crisis, currency crash, housing crisis and what not, not to mention not so good wages. This is happening because they stopped buying fuel from Russia and now they are purchasing the same at market rates which is a lot expensive. You can try for Europe after an year.
Toh kahn jaye batao hahah france / italy ye log language ko bolenge and whan a
H bhi nahi itti IT
So I am in the sector which analyses and advices clients in Europe on their energy needs. I have analysed in detail about the gas crisis and high energy bills in Europe. As others have already told, Europe is going through some bad times now because of the gas crisis with Russia. It is a temporary thing though. Our analysis and the general consensus within people who know the energy sector are that this is inturn gona help europe in being self sustainable in the long term. It has hit them what fuel dependency with another country can lead to. So the inflation and hiring freeze and layoffs happening in Europe is gona last for an year or so - say about the end of 2023. If you want to make money then better prefer USA or Australia. But Europe will give you good exposure and a good life experience. Try for it - if you dont get it now you will get after 6-7 months. But if you really want it, dont quit trying dude.
Thanku for this .. I won't quit .. will try more
Europe is going through one of the worst recessions in its history. This might also be the reason you're not hearing back. Maybe wait for sometime for the situation to bounce back and then apply again.
Ok I ll wait for europe then ..till then trying others
I got the opportunity for belgium but now afraid to join there due to the news of recession coming up in europe. Though the position is permanent but It's small IT service company so not sure in case of project ramp down, do they have enough clients/projects.
I too have the same question I too got a job offer from Barcelona ..but very confused about timing considering all the situation in Europe ..please suggest
You should try applying for job seeker visa
It lets you stay in German for 6 months to find a job.
Its a little risky but you will find way better opportunities if you are present in Europe
