How do I go about a raise negotiation when I’m being underpaid? I didn’t know how to negotiate when I was first offered the job, so I took what they offered. After a year of working there, I’ve gotten a new title and I now cover for three other positions who have quit since I’ve started. Looking at other salaries in my position, I’m being underpaid by at least 50%. How do I go about this? I understand typical raises are 5-10%, but this company isn’t fairly compensating my time and work.

Wanted to check what would be expected salary when promoted from L3 support engineer to L4 support engineer? Considering current L3 base pay 8Lpa, will I get stocks and will I get hike+ promo?

Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.

According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). How do I approach this with my boss as I’m not sure she’s aware I’m actually technically a junior? Revolving around asking for a move up + raise
