I couldn’t care less. The fact that people are so motivated to change this confuses me. I’m not sure if it’s that much of an actual challenge…or is it just that people like to complain?
It’s what the rest of the world does. Immigrant here and I remember going to school when it was still dark out and I think I turned out alright.
Also, I have kids and I would def take the dark school mornings over time change. Fall time change is not bad, spring just sucks cos of the hour lost. It’s hard on everyone’s sleep. Parents with young kids understand that sleep is as precious as gold 😩
Why couldn’t they make it so the sun rises earlier AND sets later? Has someone asked NASA to do this?
Easy, move near the equator
I don’t think we should change the clocks! The older I get the harder that hour is to adjust…. Both ways.
I’m 36 and I feel this
All the sleep research points to not changing the clocks, but keeping standard not daylight saving time (note that it’s saving, not savings). This is actually the worst possible choice (vs standard or changing). Some of us can recall when during the energy crisis of the 70’s, they switched to DST early. There was such an outcry as kids were heading to school well before the sun came out. Increased traffic accidents as well. The government ended up switching it back.
Please please please don’t make this some woke vs racist partisan issue

It's a woke vs sleep issue

It’s great. I can farm year-round now :)
I’m really happy for you, Farmer/Associate Consultant 1
Welcome to Arizona where time never changes. 😉
As a night owl, I like it. But I will miss the extra hour when we “fall back”
As someone who doesn’t have kids I’m so pro. But I’d think it would be a mess for parents if kids either go to school in the dark or school starts later?
YES
Fwiw I’m from a country on the equator where the sun is always 6am-6pm. So, this topic is sort of a novelty for me haha
8 am should just be 1 hour after sunrise at the eastern midpoint of each time zone throughout the year.
Love the change. I grew up in Puerto Rico were we didnt change the clocks. Going to CONUS has made me miserable twice a year with that assbackwards change.

I think we should stay on a single time zone all year, but it should necessarily be daylight time. For example, Michigan might want to stay on standard time, otherwise the sun will come up way too late. Everyone needs to pick one.
I guess this is why Marco Rubio is so pro- it’s hardly a morning problem for Florida but extends like, golfing hours in the evening

I love it! Finally, Congress actually did 1 thing. I guess I wont hold my breath for until the next comminsense bill they pass
The House still needs to go pass it
I’m all for not changing clocks, but why not use Standard Time instead?
Maybe daylight in the evening gets businesses more sales so they’ll lobby for that?
I hate that we change the clocks twice a year. I’m still struggling to fix my sleep schedule from last weeks change. I’ve been hoping for an end to this madness my whole life.
No
People this week expressed it was tough making the change, specially non morning people. Waking up and hour ealier? Sounds like nothing but... I absolutely hate mornings
I can only dream of it…
