One technique I've used to some success is to create a border in my mind between work and my own time. Try doing the same thing every day when work is done, whether it's taking a walk, or listening to music in the same chair, or cooking a meal. Just getting involved with something for a while as a routine can get you used to the idea that work is over for the day. It can be a good way to transition to being on your own time.

You should find something you like to do and do it once a week, like going to the park, going to the mall for a walk, or something else that distracts your thoughts. Another thing that helps me personally is fenshui, burning sage when I have a lot of thoughts, that calms my mind and I can sleep very well. Also, vanda, when you get off work, take a bath with that fragrance.

Take 3-5m to move your full attention to your breath and body sensations. Your su needs time to reset and refocus. This practice is like polishing on the clutch to chafe gears. ⚙️
