How do you comfort/help out a friend struggling to find work in this industry? A pal of mine was let go last year and has had shit luck finding work. I've been trying to help as best as I can, and they're applying like crazy, but they haven't been able to land anything. I feel guilty because I've gotten very lucky and have been able to get decent work, but I feel powerless to really help and they're so down in the dumps.
