Poor leadership and no motivation
That’s been a common theme in my survey results so far. Hope you’re not still working there!
One that tells you you're not smiling enough even when meeting all your metrics
Been there
1. Whatever you do, even if you go above and beyond to do your work you don't get due credits.
2. Don't understand, or don't care about your needs.
3. Don't compensate you adequately; want you to work more.
Agree completely!!!
Men that are allowed to block progress on your priorities without any consequences.
Still there and searching for a way out.
Valuing peoples ideas based on their popularity
Feedback given about you as a person rather than your work
Lack of willingness to adopt new approaches or ideas
Unclear lines of responsibility and management
But the big one for me is summed up as "responsibility without authority" you are expected to achieve a goal but aren't given the authority to get the goal done (either through assigning budget or people resource)
This is a good one. “Influencing without authority” is now pushed as a skill to work on, completely disregarding the realities of being a young/young-looking woman in a male-dominated field. How about you give me the title needed to make people listen and do their jobs.

One that gives you actual health problems— started getting heartburn, gaining weight and anxiety while dealing with a toxic boss. Moved departments and I literally feel my entire body relaxing not dealing with that toxic boss anymore.
That’s wonderful! Yes, we need more great leaders!

A follow-up email for every email you get. As if you don’t know how to read or don’t do work at all.
-Dismissive attitudes from leadership. For example, if you bring them customer feedback, with data to prove its an issue, and several solutions, but they say no. They don't consider it at all.
-If you hear "Maybe you're not an organizational fit with the company" in response to questions asked with good intention.
-Nothing to motivate employees. It doesn't have to be pay (though raises help!), but there need to be some kind of acknowledgement for good behavior.
-Not addressing poor results or metrics in a 1:1 setting. Mandating training just makes four top performers feel like they are being punished while bottom performers don't understand that it's their behavior that is lowering the team average.
-Increasing the amount of work with no pay increase or job titled change.
Wow, I hope you’re not still in those situations.

One that you need a Valium just to walk in to.
Yikes… hope you got out.
