How do you guys actually find the energy to adult? I just spent my day off sleeping for 14 hours and I still feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I have laundry piling up and a social life that’s non-existent, but my bed is the only thing that understands me right now.

I find I can do a few things well and the rest needs to be good enough.

Caffeine, and even that isn't enough. Most days end with me feeling incredibly exhausted and unaccomplished. I feel you on the laundry front in a major way. I have four full baskets of clean clothes that I have zero energy to put away.

I definitely relate to this, I slept 12 hours on Friday night when I got home!

I'm currently working for a startup that has been unable to pay us for 2ish months while they are trying to secure investor funding. They said they will back pay us and (we're working much fewer hours) and they were reaching into their personal savings for months before and never took a salary. We have patients enrolled so we agreed to help for a few weeks but not for this long. I don't want to burn bridges and I am currently interviewing elsewhere but any recommendations??

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
