I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Usually sarcasm and passive aggressive responses.
Sadly acting professionally in the workplace seems to have taken a backseat to the Me Generation thrust of one-upmanship in certain workplaces. This seems especially true in remote work locales where HR and upper management is beyond the grasp of the lower echelon worker
Make sure you have a paper trail of EVERYTHING and provide the receipts to management/HR. Unfortunately in these situations HR won’t do much beyond maybe an “investigation”. You’re better off finding a new job.
Have you asked him/her why? I mean just come right out and ask why they have a problem with you? Do they feel threatened by you somehow? When you engage is your tone condescending or defensive?
Leave. If it’s been brought up to management and not handled, it’s only going to get worse instead of better.
I've had to document everything and follow up with HR if I don’t see action. Having a support system at work or outside can help too, as it’s good to talk it out with someone who gets it
Get with HR and let them know it’s not going to be tolerated. Being there 4 months is difficult but maybe they are testing you to see if you’ll stand up for what’s right. Don’t be afraid of them. That’s exactly what they want. Stand up to the bullying and let them know it’s unprofessional, unethical, and creates a severe and hostile work environment.
I had to leave. I brought it up to my supervisor, his supervisor and HR. Even a client called him out about it. He still works there.
Had a very similar experience. I ended up leaving too.
Gotta agree with the rest, it's time to go! You'll thank yourself later... Best to you!
I would bring it up to management and then go to HR. If nothing is being done then it might be time to decide whether you're going to just tolerate it or find something else. Unfortunately I have worked at too many places where they just sweep it under the rug.
Bullying? What is this, High school?
It really seems like it haha
Depends heavily on what constitutes bullying.
I have seen it and dealt with it. I have learned that I do not shy away and I kill them with kindness. I ask them what are they really mad about. That typically breaks the bully down. Bulling in the work place is a real thing. I still find that it comes from the Baby Boom Generation or the one right after them. Basically anyone who started their career in the 80’s. I have also found that office workers or more or less gossipers that have no life but their cats at home. It is a sad work environment. Covid really did a number on the work force. We either have lazy or overly motivated for no good reason. Management sticks their head in the sand and comes up with another insane thing to do.
Leave. Just simply leave. And get an atty. AFTER you've started in your new job and are seeing paychecks.
My manager noticed the behavior and reported it to HR. I had already been documenting it because it had been going on for about 6 months. She was an UW and I was her AM. Prior to my manager going to HR she had spoken with the UW and the director had as well.
She spoke to me so rudely and expect me to be available at 7pm or 6am if she “needed” something. She’d send an email and within 2 minutes send an IM asking if I’d seen her email. She made work miserable, but I’d never have said anything and I stayed professional.
After speaking with HR and providing all my evidence they decided that I would just switch Underwriters. Nothing else came of it. This was the 2nd position she had been moved from due to how she acted towards others. I ended up looking for employment elsewhere because it was ridiculous how it was handled, especially when I didn’t even go to HR myself.
