Yes. Yes you are going to get a pay decrease. A substantial one. Plus side is you have healthcare and much much better benefits
@Director1 👉Settings > General > Keyboard > Text replacement: add upper case “I” replace with “i”. At least until Apple has a fix.
test because I am dumb
It is not a direct currency conversion. You will want to check the market value and compensation for your role in the area you are moving to. I moved from US to Canada and my base salary was only slightly more so I essentially took a pay cut overall, but I get paid more than fair market value for my city.
Try research. Glassdoor. Currency conversions. Then, look at salary to rent vs NYC. And call us once you figure out the job sitch in a foreign country where you don’t have a visa and can’t speak the language. Then call me.
And in France you're probably going to be paying 40-45% income taxes, along with 5.5-20% sales tax. If you make much over about 105k USD, Uncle Sam might take a little taste too. But you'll always have Paris.
^haha fuck @SP i️ thought that was only showing up on my screen! thanks for the hack
it worked! 😆
@SP any replacement for all those !!!!!!
Cost of living is lower. Much lower. Holidays higher. Better benefits especially on having kids, healthcare and all that. Worth looking into.
I lived in Berlin in 2008 and from what I remember pay in is pretty low but the cost of living is insanely cheap. I rented an apartment right in the middle of mitte for 500eur
yes. It won’t be a direct currency conversion. I️ know in the UK it’s especially low but Europe I️ believe is similar. For example, I️ was looking at jobs in the UK when I️ make $200k here that were paying $120k once converted.
Thanks guys!!
Also, you still have to pay taxes on your income in the US too. Double bend-over.
