How does the resignation timeline works in PwC? Is it 2 weeks from the day you start the process or is there back and forth around the exact date? If not going to competitor or not staffed in critical projects can HR ask you to leave earlier than 2 weeks?

It’s flexible, but generally you’ll just stay and work your 8 hours until you leave after two weeks. There is no reason not to if you’re not leaving for a competitor.

What process? Standard is 2 weeks from when you put in your notice.

But yes there could be back and forth and yes they can ask you to leave earlier than 2 weeks

You tell them your last day and they either agree or let you go earlier. That's it.

2 weeks is standard timing for quitting anywhere (more than companies deserve imo considering they’d let their employees go without any notice but that’s not exactly relevant here lol) but you just give them a “last day” when you submit your resignation so it can be any more or less time than that as you want. They may ask you to leave sooner depending on your current work or lack thereof though

There’s no “required” amount of notice you have to give any employer by the way - it’s entirely a courtesy that’s just generally expected of employees
