Had my annual review Friday (first year with the company). Boss awarded a 3% raise though she said my review was “90% positive.” Worth adding I got a 3% sign on bonus last year, so I’m basically at 0% raise. Nobody under me has gotten less than a 7% raise in the past year. Considering promotions + counter offers as well, it goes as high as 25%. I don’t feel a 3% raise matches a “90% positive” review and plan to bring up the cognitive dissonance I’m feeling. Any other tips or advice to add?

An executive of a major Telecom company approached me with an exciting opportunity. All details have been finalized for them to provide me an official offer other than the final compensation. The executive had asked me to provide a salary range that I was looking for which I did, but now wants me to provide my W2 from previous years of employment along with a breakout of this year’s compensation. What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.
