Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
This is the most dormant group 😁
Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Culture…pretty relaxed culture but if you want to move up it’s a place where people go to take advantage of not doing much so a lot of people sit in roles forever.
Pay is going to be below market and interviews probably mostly behavioral.
Are you in amex right now?
It’s a great culture but I agree with JPM on negative points.
Depending on office location it can be very hard for you to move up. Some people I know have been moving laterally for 5+ yrs. Go into interview to find out what you’re going to learn in the role. Some roles are just meant to stagnate you.
Depending on group you’re in, it can be on chopping block for layoffs, so it’s really important to know people from other groups.
As to pay, I think it was in market but I know so many people who left for above market offers, including myself.
If you’re starting a family, they offer 20 wks and other good benefit for adoption & IVF.
Big complaint was the deductible for medical, very high. I went to another company where the premium and insurance exactly the same except much smaller deductible and more money to HSA.
Yes headquarters is best opportunity for growth.
I can confirm as I have a friend in a PM role at Amex right now and the pay is subpar to market average but the job is easy.
