How is Deloitte culture when it comes to the role of scrum master

exit opportunities for someone who got a good gpa from a well known school and a cpa who thought they would be doing something cool while building a foundation for a fruitful career but got stuck on state/federal claims and related government work instead? or is a full restart needed?

S1 at B4 now but looking to do something more traditional (?) that will provide opportunity in finance/accounting and not something ‘risk’ oriented that will pigeonhole me.

5th September is my last working day at Infosys. Yoe=4+ yrs

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

Had an interview for an associate position at Citi. Interviewee was based in London and I’m in NYC. The only interview time that worked was 6am. I was barely functioning and feel like I truly messed up in my answers because I couldn’t not think clearly. I have another with the head of the division next week again at 6am (pre determined before this interview). It was also hard because the division’s core work is private enough that there was not much prep I could do beforehand. Tips?

Considering Leaving JP Morgan to join US bank is that a sounds move ? 9 years of software engineer experience - currently paid $135K plus bonus as Associate software engineer at JPMC- but I want a fully remote position that’s why considering making the move to US bank. What do people use for writing samples? I’m 5 years out of school and a job posting asked for a writing sample. My law school sample is 7 years old and unrelated to my area of practice, and I don’t think I can use anything from my current work due to the confidential nature. Do people just make up a writing topic and write about it?
