D7 you need a heroes ovation for braving the firing and still surviving
Currently in this practice and it's terrible. Went to top-10 bschool, had multiple offers from other firms & industry, got lured in by recruiting stories of interesting projects (very few and far between). If you want to do terrible PMO work on M&A projects, it's a great place to be
Just messin' w/ u... A few SMs in that practice in Chicago are just horrible human beings, mainly a fat a$$hole called Habeeb.... ask her to avoid working with him if she ends up there!
Is that the Pre-Check practice at Deloitte?
Also, TS&A hiring is news to me. Last I heard there was complete hiring freeze for TS&A
Also, this year everyone's rating got pushed down. Automatic 3 rating for people who haven't been here a full year even if you were a top performer :-/
Get out while you can.
SAP and TSNA doesn't really go hand in hand. Ask her to check which capability within TSNA they are hiring her for
Heard of Habeeb out of Chi....never met him, but I have heard to avoid at all costs lol.
I would recommend against it. Peoples ratings got pushed down and many who would have otherwise been good were laid off.
OP, don't worry about the city, she will be travelling anyways. The staffing is generic, you are not aligned to any specific capability. Key thing for her if she gets hired is to build her network in the areas she wants to work in. That said I agree with D8, with her SAP background not sure how she will fit because we don't touch SAP.
I don't question her much - she just told me that she got a lot of uncertainty on the types of projects she would be involved in, plus we spoke to 2 of my friends who r in D and they did not strongly recommend the position either. I think overall she just didn't have a convincing conversation with the recruiter.
Anyway, can we talk more about habeeb?
Don't do it. Practice is not healthy, but then again that's not saying much in this market.
Its very hard to generalise TSA. There are some areas that are doing really well and have some cool projects. That said markets conditions aren't ripe for robust growth so you will hear some negatives. I would say go for it, its a rocky side and but a lot of learning
She is in SAP at PwC, she'll prob go and at least talk to them, let's see
What office? Hopefully not Chicago!
D7 initials = MK?
D10. Dallas
I heard Habeeb was hitting it up with Pooja
