So I’m reading online about holiday tipping, and I feel like the advice of “cost of one walk” is pretty cheap for all she does, sometimes on short notice. I usually pay about $80/week for daily, about $300/week when I have to include nights. What would you recommend as fair and nice to tip (especially since I’m about to leave for holiday travel directly after)
Typical holiday tipping for a dog walker / daycare is 1 week of service. Whatever your weekly average is, should be fine.
If it helps, I’m suburban greater NYC area - commute about 1.5 hours, so not quite NYC, but most she deals with are NYC commuters.
I would give $100. That’s kind
