I had an interview yesterday for an AM position for a start up. The salary is 30k more than what I’m making now and it seems like the culture is much better than my current company. 👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.

Make sure to add phonics and PHONEMIC AWARENESS to your RR practice. RR is based on the 3 cueing system which is NOT an effective way to teach reading. Contextual guessing does not promote the skills necessary to develop a site word vocabulary. Read David Kilpatrick to get a better understanding of what good reading instruction looks like. Not trying to rain on your parade, but the time and effort put into this program will not yield the results your students need.
