I’m working with a financial education startup that is looking for an animator or team of animators that can produce 10-20 2Danimated explainer-videos (possibly a lot more in the future). 60-90seconds in length each.
They want to prioritize comprehension (function>fashion), with just a bit more style than what you can see of their past videos on their front page: https://learnfinlit.com/
DM me and I can send more info...

Same here. I’ve been applying casually for several years and haven’t had much success. I’m not desperate so won’t take a job that doesn’t seem like a step up, but the lack of opportunities and offers are baffling to me. I have 10 years experience in my field and a manager position. It’s discouraging. About five years ago, it was so easy to get an offer for another job.
True. But I feel like things have shifted since covid. However, even though there is normality coming back in full swing I personally believe the work from home many like better than the work in the office. So much we realized we could live without going on in the office. Hybrid seems a good as long as not having to travel an hour driving to work each way. I just do not like traffic.
I have also been looking for 3 months. Recruiters are also telling me companies are holding back, paying less and many are being told it’s due to the oversea current issues. I have been a paralegal for about 30 years and noticed the AI component has been eliminating positions in the legal profession. I have worked with AI and hope to continue as a paralegal. It’s very rough out in employment market and it’s one of the worst I’ve been years. I have no plans to retire but this might be changing my game plan. Good luck! Keep the faith
Most attorneys I think also are wanting someone who can hit the ground running. They don’t want to deal with those fresh out of college or less experienced. It is what it is.
I agree with you, Discovery Paralegal. The few remote jobs out there are for states nowhere near where I live, require proven experience is those states and are in very specialized practice areas.
I've been looking for about 6 months now and it's bad. I have 10+ years of experience, but they still want to pay only $50k-$60k in cities like Kansas City, Denver, and D.C. for in-office paralegals where that income will NOT cut it for a single person (which is what they want for availability reasons.)
That’s nice. I’m real happy for you. It does.
I’ve been tentatively looking. I’ve had some success and feel like there’s a growing amount out there- but a lot is indeed in office. I have been disappointed in some of the pay being offered.
I agree with you, Discovery Paralegal. The few remote jobs out there are for states nowhere near where I live, require proven experience in those states and are in very specialized practice areas.
Finally after 4 months of applications, a prescreening with one company, a request to interview from a firm which was then rescinded because they put the position on hold, countless rejections and 3 interviews later I finally received and accepted an offer. Fully remote, transitioning from law firm to in-house. I am thrilled. I was starting to get worried that I may never get a call back from anyone. Stay persistent and flexible. I applied to this role thinking it was a long shot and I got it.
I am so happy for you. May you excel abundantly in your position.
Does anyone have suggestions for landing a job? I completed my paralegal certification last year and haven't had any luck
No suggestions thus far. I am drained. Im looking only for discovery work. Would like more work. Im burnt out on doing what Im doing now and it is NOT fulfilling. I feel as if Im burying my own grave prematurely.
I don’t know what to do anymore.
