After negotiating, and CTC fixing hr said there will be 10% deduction as a retention part that will be credit after 1 yr, and then there reduction it's for only one year deduction. Is it red flag?

I had decided CTC by calculating all exoenses I have to ber moving to different city. Now I'll be short of some sum in my calculations.

The CTC excluding 10% deduction, is only 1.5 lac above than the offer I have for hybrid model and less expensive city. Shall I accept ,it or ask for more ?

It is incredibly demoralizing to be killing myself slogging through diligence for a very complicated target, including drafting an extensive diligence memo, all on a very tight timeline, just to be left off all the interesting calls about the purchase agreement where I could learn b/c partner is concerned about the bill & doesn’t want to write off time. It makes me feel like I’m not on the team & am just a worker bee drone & I am way less motivated to do my best work.
