I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Maybe a year at junior and 2 or 3 at mid? But you’re better off not comparing your own path to others. It doesn’t matter and only makes the career more stressful.
Coach
Depends on your talent. Junior level is 2-5 years. Mid level 5-7. But again - YMMV. Some people climb the career ladder more slowly but enjoy long careers and good work. Others climb fast and are out on the street unable to get a job (like today) in just a decade. So much depends on talent and attitude.
That year estimate is probably how it should be, but not how it typically is anymore
It’s definitely a quicker climb than before (pros and cons to that).
I’d ask your (E)CD what they expect to see from each level in terms of work/aptitude/experience vs time served per level. They’re more likely to respect that you’re on the right side of ambitious and keen to impress them while improving your skills.
The alternative can be coming across as entitled/impatient. Not saying you are, OP, but had/heard about many a conversation that has swung that way when it’s all about time not skill.
junior was exactly 1.5 years for me and i moved to a new agency for that position and i’ve been “midlevel” for 4 years but we don’t have senior titles at my current agency. i think id shoot for acd at my next job after another year or two
It’s not about time, it’s about your experience as it relates to the new responsibilities you’ll receive.
Following since I’m curious too. I got promoted to mid level after a year unexpectedly and for a long time I was trying to play catch up to feel like I was earning my wage (I work really hard but also have severe impostor syndrome). At the end of my second year I was starting to enjoy feeling like a competent mid level but now that I’m done with my third year, my partner is hoping that we get promoted to senior. I feel far from ready but have gotten advice not to leave money on the table since we’re short staffed and I’m already doing the job anyway.
