PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?
Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hi Everyone,
Urgent !!
How many years of experience does Cognizant consider in order to give "Associate" role?
I am switching from Larsen & Toubro Infotech & I got a role of 'Programmer Analyst' having 2.2 YOE.
What is the max budget for 'Programmer Analyst' role ?
What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.
Hey Fishes,
Can anyone give me referral ?
Thanks!

Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Sorry Cubbies, better luck next time
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I joined KPMG out of undergrad knowing that it’s not an environment I didn’t want to stay in. I do think it’s a great company, but it didn’t align with my professional preferences. I left after a year and a half and got my dream job. Don’t listen to anyone that says there’s a timeline, leave when you’re ready and find something more exciting and aligned with your interests
agreed. People to much emphasis on the name; do what makes you happier because a huge chunk of your week is spent at work. Start by networking internally for other opportunities, then externally with those in your LinkedIn, and those you meet at events. It’s totally fine to hit up a stranger on LinkedIn when you’re interested in their profile - you’d be surprised how many are willing to jump on the phone. There’s plenty to learn at KPMG/B4s but you need to proactively seek it out
Try switching practice or service lines

What’s your goal? Usually, especially if you’re junior, no one cares if you spent under a year at a firm - it’s not like you’ve had time to really develop.
What service line, I’m gonna guess IT Audit?
What specifically do you do in it?
You started 6-8 weeks ago and already know it’s not for you?
A1: I’m not doing any strategy stuff. I’m doing more like it audit and I really don’t like that

Within 2 months? That’s insanity but if you are sure, find something you like and get out. Better to leave now.
