An EIN is necessary if you’ll be doing business of any sort, whether grants are in play or not. The only entities I have that don’t have EINs are LLCs formed for the specific purpose of holding beneficial interests in land trusts.
Hello I would like to get more information on applying for a grant to help me with my debt I accumulated with my business.
What’s your email address?
I have both and never had a grant
Would you need my help in securing grant?
Me, never seen any opportunities that would fit
Let’s discuss grant opportunities for you in the DM
Depending on what type of company it is - I'd first check with your city to see if they are still giving away any grants.
Many Cities do this each year.
Would like more information on the grants you have access to
Send me a DM please let’s discuss

I've started 2 companies, one LLC and one Corporation without funding. We've got bootstraps baby! To start the LLC, I made a sale (to a hospital) and then we built out our servers and came back to them in 30 days. We were break even in the first month. The corporation was more difficult as we built 2 apps and a website. I did use $100k of my own capital to get it going, but we are growing strong with 8 years under our belt now.
Sounds like you've got some serious hustle! Your experience building both an LLC and a corporation, especially with bootstrapping and early revenue generation, is super valuable for grant applications. Your ability to achieve break-even in the first month with the LLC and your long-term growth of the corporation (8 years!) demonstrates strong financial management and sustainability – key factors that grantors love to see. The fact that you've used your own capital shows commitment.
Would you like us to look into grant opportunities together? We can chat in the DM
I have heard of women owned and minority owned business grants but never applied.
I launched my business independently in 2017, with no capital investment or start up costs and still hold close to zero debt.
I do have an EIN. Though, I am listed as a sole proprietorship which can be easily transitioned to an LLC or S Corp, if needed.
Please let me know more about the available grants.
Please message me.

Funding
Grants are nice but they also come with reporting requirements/stipulations that many don’t think about. I hope this person is very clear about that part of it and they are either setting you up for success to do the reporting yourself or doing it for you (which many grant writers do not do because they aren’t in the trenches to report on what has happened last quarter).
Have both, have a D&B number, used the Skip platform to help with grants, used various platforms to find business funding, have an in-depth business plan with 5 year projections and have had it reviewed by multiple alleged business experts, but I have done 5 great pitches to different private entities, all of whom gave glowing remarks, and a few of them ended up spending 3-4 hours diving into what seemed like productive and promising dialogue.
3 of them called me "from the bank" to tell me sorry I don't have the X-thousand of dollars I pledged to invest but...
yeah. the system is not for the regular, passionate individual who simply wants to do good, honest work and make a living. the system is for people with agendas, connections, or whatever else advances the ideas of corruption.
