How many of you cleared the CISSP exam to become Associate of ISC2, and not certified due to lack of experience, have written something similar to CISSP qualified or passed on their CV and got away with it?
I have recently passed the exam and looking for job change, so finding ways to get the most out of the certification. Thanks.

I would just refer to the Associate of ISC2 on your actual CV. ISC2 is very picky in terms of putting anything CISSP explicit on the resume. The odds of pushback are unlikely, but if you happen to find that one interviewer who’s also a CISSP and has something to prove there is risk you could be reported. The badge from acclaim for the associate cert does indicate which exam you passed, ie the CISSP. So they can certainly verify which exam and effort you put towards which cert. Not to say I haven’t seen people get away with it, but I would always advise to take the high road. Because worst case scenario, ISC2 could strip that passing result from you.

Maybe you can say something like "Associate of ISC2 (CISSP eligible MONTH/YEAR)"

I see a lot of people list their “passed exams” instead of their active certifications 😉

This is just my opinion, but I respect almost equally anyone who has passed the test. It shows you're committed to the field and are willing to put the time and effort. You will get the experience in time, take the certification seriously and with the degree of respect it deserves. Anyone worth a damn will understand and see your commitment, do not try to cut corners or fudge it.

Most will view this as a technicality- you passed the CISSP now putting in the time. I agree with Consultant 1’s approach

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.
