How many interview rejections did you get till you was offered a job? I am at 8 rejections at final stage interviews so far, not sure how normal this is

Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

How to tackle gap periods in IT interviews?

Not sure if this is the best place but I have my first round with JPM for quantitative research analyst but not sure what to expect. Can any one share any insights or pointers? Been really looking for this opportunity and not sure where to start besides brushing up on my work experience. Any technicals or coding questions that I should anticipate?

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?
