How much Paid Time Off is "normal" for entry level instructional designers? Coming from public education I am surprised at what is being offered in my interviews. Is 15 days PTO and 5 sick days "normal"?

Been in the strat game for over a decade; I’ve realized that a strong department with clear process that is built on end to end problem solving (with time to think) is when I’m happiest vs this award show / case study grind. I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

Is it okay to take leaves during probation in Infosys consulting? The offer letter does mention 4 leaves per quarter.

I'm joining during in October and thought I could take a week off for Christmas. Not sure if they have a concept of block leaves during Christmas though.

I have been in my current job for 1 year now as a booking coordinator for a logistics company. It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity!
