I had 15 days available and took all 15. I had one 7-day period (Friday-week-Monday) four 2-day bookends (Friday and Monday) for short weekend getaways. I only had to use 5 sick days this year, knock on wood.
Good for you for maximizing your paid days off. Strategizing around the weekends and holidays alway helps!
I squeezed in 15 days this year, scattered between catching up on family visits, a spontaneous beach trip (vitamin sea is the best!), and those mandatory mental health breaks fueled by copious amounts of tea and rom-coms.
I love this for you!! Those mental heath breaks are a must.
About a week and a half. I didn't have much urge to take more because I felt comfortable. I ran out of PTO in previous years, which was stressful.
That’s understandable! I’ve started taking time off for my own well being even if I have no trips planned… it was so nice this year. But I definitely should have taken more time off because over a 12 month period… that isn’t much!
