If you find something else, I wouldn't limit yourself based on some arbitrary requirement that someone decided years ago made sense. I know the old wisdom used to be that you shouldn't leave with less than two years at a job. But I think a lot of things have changed. Not every job is going to be a good fit and that's okay, you can change your mind.

There's no such thing as too soon in my book. If you hate the job and manage to get a better offer, take it. Life is too short to spend every day miserable at work.

True. I took a job once and knew within a few months it was a poor fit. I was out the door in just over a year. It took that long to find a new role but I hated every minute of it once I realized it was not for me.
