How strict is the KPMG background check? They had me fill out this employment application in the beginning but I don't feel confident the end dates are correct and it only let me put up to five employers. I am not sure what the next steps are after the offer.

A couple months off is fine. So long as you’re not time to hide a gap in employment

They do find out everything you list on your resume. And they do cross check with what you fill in vs. resume.

How did this end up working out for you? I have the same question about start end dates possibly being slightly off at old jobs going thru kpmg check

how did this end up going? does KPMG use a third party to conduct background check after you sign the offer?

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

I need your advice. I got an offer to join Morgan Stanley in Canada and want to know what my salary range is there. I have 10 years of experience in investment banking and will be a 5 member family living there. Can i get 200k per year, please advise. Appreciate your help on this.

Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.

I’ve been with my company for 8+ yrs, I love my manager and the work I do (engagement, recognition, & wellness programs) but I feel like I’m limiting myself since I have the experience, an HRM degree, and SHRM-CP credentials.

Should I apply for roles outside the company?

5+ years of full-time job as developer and still waiting to reverse a LinkedList at work.

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty early in my career (just over 1 YOE) & not really enjoying my current role as a Consultant/Developer because of the type of projects I get combined with some mobility issues. However, I'm really interested in technical program management or project management and I'm looking for any advice on how to get there bc I've been applying, but can't even seem to get a call back.

(Also would really appreciate some likes on this post to get my 11 likes out of the way 😀)
