Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Just curious, what were the executives in awe with the proposal but you see through it, and what was wrong with it?
Do you really think they lied or are they just making silly mistakes? This is a slippery slope to accuse an executive of lying about their experience so I’d tread lightly! Do you know how they were hired? If they were a friend of another executive, it could have been a network hire so yeah these ones slip through being totally inexperienced but cronyism can get you far.
Best you can do is document your concerns about projects so you can have a paper trail that shows you weren’t in favor of decisions if it does blow up.
I would second what was said here. Voice your concerns about the project in a respectful manner, making sure to point out the expense part. I wouldn't address the resume fudging as that could paint you in a different light. These kinds of people generally trip over themselves.
... And they are in awe with their proposal (which is wrong). How would you handle this situation?
