Does anyone have any advice they can share on the best skill or certification I could acquire to get a job in IT Audit? I have a bachelor's in accounting and an MBA but initial experience is 8 months at a local CPA firm and 4 months at some local business.

I'm just tired of the abysmal pay and have an interest in working something between accounting and security.

Recently I had an emergency that required me to leave work around 10am on a Thursday to take my 5 year old son to the ER.
