Fortunately for me, holidays are simply a reason to celebrate that particular holiday, they no longer hold on any drinking connotations anymore.
It took work to get there, but once the obsession was removed, it was removed wholly and completely. I do have a few family members who drink and even get drunk on occasion, and it's simply a reminder that they don't drink like I did.
Honestly, Easter was great for me. Luckily my family doesn't do the whole "lets get drunk at brunch" on Easter thing and we just attend mass and have a fairly wholesome day. It's usually the BBQ holidays that are most triggering for me....starting with Memorial Day, ending with Labor Day.
Thanksgiving will always be the worst 🤬

Thanks for checking in. Mine was fine, I was invited to a friend's for dinner and that friend has quit drinking for non alcoholic medical reasons so it was pretty tame.
Mine was pretty good. I always really enjoy a long weekend to spend with friends and family. I had a pretty relaxing weekend which was really nice.
