Looking for a recommendation for an "envelope based" replacement. They suggested Every Dollar, but it doesn't handle credit cards well.

How do you respond when someone asks your salary? Give me both- where you tell a number and where you don't. Also if I'm giving out a number (obviously to a close one), should I say my package(including stocks)? or my in hand salary before tax? or in hand salary after tax?

I know a lot of PE firms have port ops teams, but any pe firms have in-house market l due diligence teams / market insights teams to help deal teams with market diligence (aka market size, customer perspectives, competitive landscape, etc.)

I started trading during Covid crash. Started with equities and eventually moved to options. Earlier lost a month's salary and then lot more trying to recover it. Currently have lost my yearly salary worth and it's affecting all aspects of my life (job, marriage, health). I have tried to convince myself to consider it a loss but always get back trying to recover it.

I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

Why do leaders keep comparing how “good”the new staff/seniors have it because they make more money starting out then they did and working 55 hours is better than the 70-80 hours they used to work? Instead they should compare what options they have available to them and what their goals are.

The recruiter for my company says there's no one out there and I get that a LCOL area in Pennsylvania won't have the applicant pool as a bigger city but I find it hard to believe there are no tax people available for the jobs we have.
