I live in Berlin and earn 73k euro with no yearly bonus and no stocks in Zalando.
I have received an offer from ByteDance in Singapore. They are giving 107400 SGD as base pay, 26000 SGD as yearly bonus and 62000 SGD RSUs.

I would like to get opinion from all of you whether the offer from ByteDance is better than I have in Zalando considering high cost of living in Singapore.

Should I negotiate the compensation with ByteDance?

I have 3.5 YOE in Software Engineering, with a recent Masters's in Data Science. I got an offer for an ML Engineer in a freight company, a small company but paying a total of 150K compensation. On the other hand, I have an offer from WALMART for a data scientist position. Walmart has a name that would be helpful for my career. I don't know yet what offer will Walmart give, what should range should I ask for in terms of salary? And if choosing between these two positions which one should I pick?

what’s up with Trinity Life Sciences? I’ve noticed a ton of attitude / pretentiousness during the interview process. not asking questions/ talking about self. showing up late. This company offers mediocre / low pay. has no significant IP / value adds. Very small consulting business overall. Definitely not special. lots of red flags

20 year road warrior here. My wife & I made it work through teamwork & commitment. My weekends were spent at home. Doing family things.

I know a guy who (pre COVID) traveled every week, yet found time to do 200 mile weekend biking trips with his ‘crew’. Almost every weekend.

His family vacations always seemed to include a 500 mile bike race or some other extreme event.

He is now doing this in Europe (according to IG).

How do spouses put up with that?
