Any insight on McDermott’s Delaware office?
For my folks at Deloitte , which would you choose
1.GPS, 4-5 days in office due to SCIF related work and long commute
2.USDC, wfh 3-5 days and commute would be short if I ever have to go in.
Do any USDC positions require a clearance and if not could they hold it?
Keep in mind, I don’t have salary information yet
And is the Delivery Center that bad? I read a lot of reviews on it here....LOL

In that regard the culture has been incredibly open and accepting, OP; it's just that the "gay group" can be very cliquish and I tend to stay away from the events and just meet up with my friends from the group more informally.
There are two ways to answer that question- New York based and everywhere else.
Still very cliquish. GWM dominate the official group but starting to get more traction with women and trans
I find the overall culture tends to stay away from talking about one's personal life, LBGT or otherwise. I haven't figured out yet if that's good or bad.
I'd slightly disagree E2. In my experience (FSO, NY) I've made great connections inside and outside the office. Everyone I work with knows my SO and we have many +1 events (BBQs, dinners, drinks) to get to meet each other's SOs
This is helpful. I'm less worried about gay groups, more so, general acceptance. PwC is amazing open. My partner (principal) and I are so close and ridiculously open. I'm considering a switch to EY for other reasons, and would only move if the LGBT culture was fairly good!
We have a few hokey LGBT events. I recall there was a table in the cafeteria with some brochures to celebrate National Coming Out Day or something. 😂 In general, the people I've worked with are very accepting and who I date is a non-issue. Realistically, you'll be working with such a diverse group of people that you're bound to come across someone who is uncomfortable with our orientation, and you may also come across people who are totally fine with it. It's not like any company does a homophobe screening before they hire.

It's NBD in my experience with project and team colleagues (most projects I've been on I'm not the only LGBT person). Just don't expect a "community" outside NYC. Not much organization or support locally and the "National" board seems cliquey and absent until it's time to go to conferences and dinners.
Well considering the traveling, it's hard for anyone to make time for other things besides work. Lots of gays on my project, but no one really talks about it. We're too damn busy!
