Wow these both sound super unappealing. USDC is second class citizen at Deloitte so would not take that
Yeah would not take USDC
USDC is very different from traditional track. If you’re technical, I’ve heard USDC is favorable because salaries and bonuses are higher without needing to participate in firm initiatives. Also depends on what kind of total compensation you need. If you need solid benefits and parental leave, traditional track is more favorable. Clearances are based on project, not divisions. If a client requires that clearance then you’ll need it to work.
SCIF life is unique in that there are restrictions with your ability to communicate with others outside of the SCIF during work hrs and typically cannot work remote. If you’re good with that, then ok.
USDC has a better WLB but bad pay. GPS pay is also lesser than commercial.
USDC overall doesn’t have great history of good culture. However I know several folks who are USDC (recruiters, technical Project managers, etc) who enjoy their projects and have no problems. So I think it depends on project leadership and how they choose to treat USDC.

I’ve seen good from USDC technical and some very competitive pay so it probably depends
From a career perspective, I would not take USDC.
Pick GPS, take some time to get your bearings, and try to move to a new project
USDC is really bad. Please do yourself a favor and don’t join. Ask them for US Core position.
Nope, Deloitte Core Consulting is the main consulting BU.
USDC is the low cost model i.e less salary, benefits and respect.
