It’s possible. Depends on what they’re looking for. Generally they will start by seeing you’re a good fit in the culture and then gauge your technical skills. If there’s a role where you’re in SWE but perhaps might be client facing. I’m not sure, rare but possible
Staying in professional services will be just as bad. Corporate is chill in Toronto / Canada
Depends.. can we better in most jobs but worse in some. Generally speaking, you will get better wlb and salary but it will be more stagnant. In B4, there is more foresight and guarantee in terms of moving up to SM and potentially partner. Also, the job market isn't too hot right now in many attractive industries (tech).
