HR people should get bonuses for hiring employees who become high performers to incentivize them to find stellar candidates instead of ones that check off the boxes or come from referrals

Anywhere hiring at the minute?

Immigration lawyers had sent me a questionnaire to fill out for Manager PERM. They now just came back saying that they need to assess me for a different position. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if this means they’ll now just file a Senior Perm instead? Asked them but they’re not very responsive.

EY GDS : Home location Kolkata + x lpa Fixed + 50k joining bonus + 70k variable pay for developer role

Microsoft : Hyderabad Location + (x+1.5) lpa Fixed + 2 lacs joining bonus + 2.9 lpa variable pay + stock for Azure Support Engineer role

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

I’ve always been a big saver minimum 15% to maxing out my 401k since I graduated college. I’m married to someone who thinks 6% is enough and likes $$$ cars. I love working with a school district due to the amount of time we have off during school and summer off. My current CTC was 11.27 LPA with LWD on 28th Feb in Wipro and I am expecting 20 LPA from TCS
My YOE is 9.7 Years in SAS/SQL/SAS Macros.

What do you suggest here , will TCS give me as per my expectation or at what salary should I get satisfied.. ?

I have another Offer Letter of 15LPA with 04-APR joining Date but I don't want to join that org and want to be part of TCS (obviously for Brand and WLB).
