Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

The Niners could use some help on offense, what's your 40 time?
Whatever you do you will be paid like crap so just know that. Everyone wants those jobs to no need to offer competitive salaries. And bonuses are usually based on team performance and not you're own (i.e. If they make the playoffs etc) unless you're in a sales role. And a lot of weekend obligations depending on when games are played even if you're in a corporate roll.

If I have to be somewhere at a certain time and do things I don't feel like doing, money is ALWAYS a factor 🤑
True true but how cool would being a team CEO be like if I could play a role in the success(failure) of an NHL club I would become obsessed with my job
Sales.
A guy I know here did it. Don't even remember what role it was but he's with the NY Giants now so it's possible
PWC1 no I know, but how sweet would that be if money wasn't a factor?

I've been thinking about this as well - don't really see a great role for me at these teams. Local team is opening up a new stadium so at least they may need some business ops people to help with that
