I actually spoke with HR at a new employer today, and they offered me 6 LPA, but they said 6.5 LPA.
At last, they arrived at 6.5 LPA, but they claimed to pay me the remaining 1 LPA as retention at 5.5 LPA.
I'm not sure if that 1 LPA will increase (consider under ) my CTC if I decide to join a company in future .

I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior.
