I adjunct teach an intro to data science class using Python. I've had some students ask if there are any good free courses to kearn Power BI. Fatacamp for students is about $150 a year. So, 2 questions:

1) anyone taken Datacamps Power BI and found it good?
2) any suggestions on better or equivalent that is free?

I am starting to question my existence in this world. I have a nice job, decent salary, i work out and eat healthy, maintain my health, read 3 to 4 books every month, dont have any personal commitments (single), in my early 30s and things cant be any better. Of course with the exception that i had a real bad break-up with my fiancé 6 months ago. And i dont have any symptoms of depression, but there are days when i just feel like what is all this for?

I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Okay well great thanks for telling me this now, 6 months after it was initially exchanged. I don’t understand how he could do that.

I’m trying to get all my ducks in a row for when I quit here at the end of next month… I am taking a break to figure out what I want to do, so I will be unemployed for a time. Do I have to notify the ARDC of this change (IL licensed)? Do I have to immediately switch to inactive status or can I stay active in case I decide to keep practicing law just a few months later? Coming to the realization that consulting is not for me (tech person) feeling angry that salaries at D will never be on pair with FANG and that leadership is not tech focused. For example you could be a soul contributor at fang making 240k and people at Deloitte wait 10+ years to earn that as Senior Managers because they need to climb the corporate ladder. It seems super clear cut to me now, if you want to make money in tech don’t join consulting firms. Am I wrong?
