My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable

As a software engineer 2, my current pay is 17.5L base + 5% variable. I have stocks worth 6500$ and other benefits.
YOE: 3+ years
I wanted to try companies which pays 30L base minimum. How much does Amazon offers for SDE2 and SDE3 role?
Is there any other companies I can try considering my expectations?

Looks like it might be negotiable but as long as the RIF was done properly you probably don’t have a strong case for discrimination. That said it’s worth asking for more. 4 months does seem reasonable to me. I’m an employment lawyer and I draft similar demand letters for a flat fee.

This isn't what you want to hear,, but you don't have any extra rights during a rif because you were on FMLA. You can ask for more serverence due to your leave status, but they have no obligation to provide it.
