I am a deputy at a local police station and recently I found out our boss has been doing corrupt business for at least a couple years. He keeps his own books but an accountant recently noticed how some of these numbers may be forged. I guess IRS has a case on their hands.

Wow, what a horrible situation, you have to know who to talk to so that he doesn't know, but also not to keep it a secret because you would be an accomplice.

Your boss is in a lot of trouble. If he's been doing this for a couple of years, that means he's been cooking the books for quite some time and could be facing some serious prison time.

If you know what is happening, I recommend you report it, when an investigation falls it is usually over the entire department and you may find yourself involved without knowing anything.

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.
