How is typically life for these positions requiring travel? This is for a SWE position.
Currently work with clients is remote as stated by the recruiter. If work is currently feasible through virtual means, will there be flexibility to choose to travel for this position?
I have an offer with PWC and have a family. I would prefer to be with my family.

What exactly is your concern for career? It sounds like a huge jump going from PO to Sr PM. That’s definitely a good sign. And enterprise tools within HR are always high demand and needed everywhere. I don’t see why you should be concerned. Even if you get in it would be an easier transition internally overtime if you do not like the application
I maybe missing something but isn’t the Senior PDM at the big company with best culture/product the one and only obvious choice here? I don’t get the the second thoughts here…does the product you manage even matter when you’ll be faced with a diff product each time you move to another company.

If it is a big company, then there will be plenty of opportunities to move internally. If you are worried an internal tool doesn't give a lot of exposure, it's the opposite. An internally used tool will allow you to interact with multiple teams and understand the work they do. Gives you the opportunity to identify the next move internally and also gives you the opportunity to present you skills to them as the person handling their requirements.
The big company would be the ideal choice. Is there something specific you are worried about?

I also have an another offer for another company where the role will be more data analysis and a/b testing to recommend product enhancements but not drive the execution. Confused which one to go for and how to make a decision I feel comfortable with.
I don’t think a product management career is a bad option. However, all this depends on whether you’re willing to change things up a little bit as this role will definitely be different than your current one.
