I am a second year corporate associate (primarily VC) at an amlaw 20 firm in Northern California looking to lateral. I am increasingly entertaining the idea of going in house or to a boutique for wlb. Is either option viable this early in my career and how risky is it to long term career stability?

I got in early with equity in my company and do not regret it

I’m a fifth year ECVC associate at a top tech firm. I’ve been dreaming of being able to do this but seeing how startups are managed, I’ve never trusted a startup enough to take the leap. How did you do it? And how far along in biglaw were you?

WLB is the key
