You should be talking to the new firm about paying you a starting bonus equivalent to your December bonus (pro rated) and/or some sort of guaranteed bonus agreement from them for this year. Given how busy all firms are these days - I cannot imagine they’d be ok w you waiting until December or Jan to start.
MBB to MBB seems like the easiest solve given how similar their comp structures are.
There are two easy solutions:
1) Signing bonus equal to your expected bonus accrual at your current firm (preferred, you are guaranteed your performance bonus)
2) They do not pro-rate your bonus for this year. You take some risk if you don't perform that you will lose out but there could be some upside too.

What role are you currently in and what role are you interviewing for? If it's a horizontal move then it's probably not worth it. If you're moving from knowledge centre or implementation to strategy then it might be worth it
