I believe most BDRs spend at least 3 years in the role before getting to consider a promotion, but I've been fortunate enough to have managers who believe in my capabilities. How can I prepare for this change? And how do I not let the pressure to keep up with the expectations from me crush me?

Left a great job for higher pay. Absolutely hate the new. Has anyone gone back to their old employer? I was a very good employee, respected, and dependable. It’s only been two weeks but the new is horrendous 😩

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.
