I also have a job offer for an external opportunity (same level & comp as internal promo). I think it will be a good situation.

I have 7 YOE & haven’t been promoted since my first job 5+ yrs ago, only moved upward via job changes (staying at each job 2+ yrs). Is it better for long term career optics to show promo/growth at current, or take external opp?
